Terms & Conditions: Sales, Shipping
Terms & Conditions for Shopping Kamille’s Flowers
Thank you for choosing to support Kamille's Flowers! We are dedicated to your satisfaction. Our guarantee is that every dahlia tuber shipped will be:
True to Name: The variety you receive will be correctly identified.
Viable: Each tuber will possess a healthy body and at least one visible, viable eye.
Arrive Safely: They will be packaged to withstand shipping and arrive in good condition.
Shipping & Orders
Where & How: We ship dahlia tubers within the U.S. exclusively via USPS for a flat $16 fee. Washington residents will be charged applicable sales tax based on your shipping address.
Timeline: We typically begin shipping after the threat of frost has passed in Whatcom County. You’ll receive a notification when your order is on its way.
Combined Shipping: We are glad to offer combined shipping again for the 2026 season!
Requirements: To qualify, you must use the same name, email, and shipping address (not billing). No exceptions. If this is not done, your order cannot be combined.
Fee: There is a $3 processing fee per order combined.
Once all orders are processed, we will offer refunds for combined orders.
Order Modifications: As a small, one-person team, we are unable to cancel or modify orders once they’ve been submitted. If you need to add items, please submit a separate order.
Local Pickup: Due to family commitments, we are unable to offer Farm Pick-up this year.
Shipping Delays/Loss: Once packages leave our farm, we cannot control transit times or guarantee against loss by the shipping carrier. For lost packages, please contact USPS directly for assistance.
Our Quality Guarantee
We grow all our dahlia tubers ourselves right here in Whatcom County. We do not resell or import tubers, so you can be confident in the quality and origin of your purchase. Each tuber shipped is guaranteed to have at least one viable eye.
Refund & Replacement Policy
Please inspect your tubers as soon as they arrive. To be eligible for a refund or replacement, you must contact us via our form within 10 days of receipt with photos or videos if a tuber:
Does not have a viable eye (this doesn’t include dormant eye nodes).
Is damaged (rotted or broken).
Is incorrectly labeled.
Customer Responsibility: Once the 10-day window has passed, you assume full responsibility for the care and performance of your tubers.
Varietal Issues: While we take every precaution, if your dahlia blooms and is the wrong variety, please contact us before September 1st of the growing season. We will offer a refund or replacement for the following season.
What We Can’t Cover: We are not responsible for packages lost/damaged by USPS, or damage caused by factors outside our control (weather, pests, or improper gardener practices). Because it is difficult to determine where a virus occurred, we cannot offer refunds for them; however, we invite you to view our strict Virus Protocol.
The Shopping Experience
We know it’s frustrating, but adding an item to your cart doesn’t guarantee it’s yours. As a small grower, we often have very limited quantities—sometimes less than a dozen! We recommend checking out with your top choices as soon as possible. If we run out of a variety you’ve ordered, we will reach out personally to discuss a substitution or refund; we never substitute without your permission.
Also to note:
Limits: To ensure that more customers have access to our rare and limited varieties, a purchase limit is enforced per household. Orders suspected of using family or friends to bypass this limit will be subject to cancellation and a full refund.
Purchase Confirmation: Your order is not secured or confirmed until you have successfully completed the checkout process and received an order confirmation email and number. We cannot hold items in shopping carts.
Virus Protocol & Sanitation
Ensuring healthy dahlias is our priority. To provide you with healthy, vigorous tubers, we:
Maintain WSDA Inspection for diseases and pests.
Regularly Screen for TSV and TSWV using Agdia test strips.
Cull Rigorously during the growing season and while tubers are in storage.
Sanitize All Snips between every single plant and every clump during dividing.
